NQ Access to Biological Sciences

This course is a good option for adults looking to return to education after a break of three or more years. It is designed to give you the knowledge, core skills and confidence to progress onto degree courses in forensic science, biology, chemistry and the health related professions.

Duration

One academic year.

Aim

You will gain knowledge and expertise in a range of subjects including biology, chemistry, cell function, mathematics, communication and information technology.

Opportunities

Although no formal qualifications are required, entry is by interview.
You will need to take a brief pre-entry test to help ascertain your levels of literacy, numeracy and ability to cope with the demands of the course.

Prospects

Education: Possible progression to an HNC/D or year one of a degree course at another further or higher education institution.
